Detailed Entry Screen - Care Data

The care data tab allows the entry of details pertaining to the anticipated need for care. Click on any field in this tab for an explanation of that field, or click on a tab to go to another screen. Controls at the bottom of the screen are the same on every tab, and are described in the explanations on the Personal Data page.

Field Descriptions

	Care Years	The total number of years for which long-term care is required, regardless of whether the care is paid for personally or through insurance.  Back to screen
	Beginning Year	The year in which care starts.  Back to screen
	Care for Insured	Determines whether care is to be provided for first insured or second insured.  Back to screen
	Plan Period	Total period for which financial calculations are to be made, starting with the first year in which premium is paid, and ending in the year in which all insured are deceased.  Back to screen
	Current Cost	The current cost of a day of long-term care. This figure can vary depending upon the location, level of care, quality of the facility, and other factors.  Back to screen
	Inflation Rate	The rate at which the cost of long-term care increases. This could be different than the general rate of inflation.  Back to screen
